Dress up the normal boring green bean side dish with this recipe.
What do you need?
Dress up boring and mundane green beans with this recipe!
Here's what you need:
- One (1) 15.4 oz Can of Green Beans (you can also opt for half cup of fresh or frozen green beans)
- One (1) 4oz can of Mushrooms (You can also opt for half cup of fresh mushrooms)
- Half Cup of sliced Sweet Onions
- Seasoning (I use Mrs. Dash, but you can use the seasoning of your choice)
- 2 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine
- 2 Tablespoons of Vinegar (You can use either Distilled White Vinegar or Apply Cider Vinegar)
- Skillet
Let's Get Cookin'!
- Melt 1 Tablespoon of butter or margarine in a skillet
- Saute the mushrooms and onion. (Cook down to your liking. My family likes to still have a little crunch in the onion so I usually cook for just about 3 or 4 minutes)
- Remove mushrooms and onion from the skillet and put on the side
- Melt 1 Tablespoons of butter or margarine in your skillet
- Add Green beans to skillet try to get butter coated on as many green beans as possible.
- Add vinegar to green beans. Stir and mix vinegar into beans
- Add mushrooms and onion to green beans mix thoroughly.
- Cover
- Simmer for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally
- Serve hot...YUMMMYYYY!
