Jazz up that boring can of Baked Beans with this very simple recipe. Special thanks to Stiletto Mommy, Tee Tunnell Harris for allowing me to film in her kitchen :-)
Baked Beans are great with most meals. This dish was created for a family cook out and the taste was great with our grilled Turkey Burgers & Hot Dogs!!
Ingredients:
- 1 Can of Baked Beans (We used Busch's Vegetarian Baked Beans)
- 1/4 Cup Diced Onion
- 1/4 Cup Diced Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon of Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar (We used Dark Brown Sugar but it doesn't matter)
- 1 Tablespoon of Sweet Relish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into your pot and let simmer for approximately 20 minutes. For best taste, serve hot.
